About the Treatment
Introducing Forma RF, our newest addition for advanced skin tightening. As we age, the collagen fibres that offer our skin’s structure and support slowly degrade, resulting in lines, wrinkles, sagging and skin laxity. Utilising radiofrequency technology, Forma creates a thermal effect deep within the tissue to naturally stimulate new collagen production. These new collagen fibres provide plumping and support for the dermis, and result in a tightening effect on the skin’s surface. Loss of volume, skin laxity, and lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, with long-lasting effects.
Is there any downtime?
The Forma treatment is a comfortable experience, suitable for all skin types and with no down time. You may experience some flushing or residual heat throughout the treatment area immediately afterwards, which generally depletes within a few hours. You may resume your normal activities right away.
How many treatments will I need?
As with any treatment, individual results will vary, and several treatments are recommended. As the desired outcome involves the gentle rebuilding of collagen fibres over time, we recommend a course of 6-8 treatments for optimal collagen induction and dramatic tightening effects. These results can best be seen around 3 months after your final treatment, as this is the duration needed for collagen remodelling and growth.
